The Client

A private Landlord who owns several residential properties across the North West.

Case Study

The client contacted Debt Squared Group  to report that up to 12 Persons Unknown had accessed the premises illegally and were occupying the property as Squatters and refusing to leave.

WE deployed an Enforcement Agent to complete a Risk Assessment within 2 hours of formal instructions being received.

The Debt Squared Recovery Team with the clients authority appointed solicitors on behalf of the landlord and acted as the landlord’s agent, liaising with the solicitors throughout the legal application and Court proceedings.

A Possession Order was granted by Manchester County Court and successfully transferred into the High Court and a Writ of Possession granted to DSG.

The enforcement of the Writ of Possession against Persons Unknown was undertaken by Debt Squared with 9x Enforcement Agents, 4x Security Guards and 2x K9 Units in-attendance.

The eviction was successfully completed with no police arrests and the subjects leaving the premises peacefully within 5 hours of the enforcement action commencing. The property was secured by the DSG void specialist team, also in-attendance and an external security presence was maintained for 24 hours, post eviction.


Debt Squared Group were appointed at the request of the landlord to take-over the complete management security control of the premises.
